Firm ranked 61st fastest growing IT services firm in California

Santa Cruz, CA (August 18, 2009) - The Armada Group, a premier Silicon Valley-based information technology services firm, has earned a place on the Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year. Created in 2007, the esteemed list recognizes America's fastest growing private companies and celebrates the remarkable achievements of today's entrepreneurial superstars.

"It would be an understatement to say we're proud to be included on the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row," said Jeff Tavangar, The Armada Group's founder and managing director. "To have earned a place on this exclusive list every year since its inception is incredible. It really speaks to the value Armada brings to the table for our clients, our commitment to delivering top-notch customer service and the dedication and professionalism of our team."

The Armada Group ranked 3,711 on this year's Inc. 5000 list and is the 61st fastest growing IT services firm in California. Armada helps growing companies improve their business through intelligent use of emerging technologies. It has successfully delivered over one million hours of quality service to more than 100 clients ranging from dynamic, growing firms to global industry leaders including Cisco, PayPal, eBay and VMware.

The 2009 Inc. 5000, as revealed online at www.inc.com, is Inc.'s biggest yet by a number of measures. Amid the recession, the list reported a combined revenue topping $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year. Median annual revenue is now over $10 million, and for the first time, the Inc. 5000 companies are responsible for creating more than one million jobs since their founding. However, the median growth rate is down to 126 percent from last year's 147 percent. Once again, California tops the Inc. 5000 with the most companies of any state, with 612. The IT Services industry had the most companies on this year's list with 658, followed by Business Products & Services (502), Advertising & Marketing (398), Construction (354), Manufacturing (342).
