The Armada Group Honors Top Consultants at Fall Event

Santa Cruz, CA (Nov 18, 2009) - The Armada Group, a premier Silicon Valley-based technology consulting firm repeatedly recognized for excellence, honored three of its top consultants during its Fall Appreciation Day, held on October 17, 2009 in San Jose, California.

The Armada Group regularly recognizes its top consultants as a part of its ongoing commitment to consulting excellence. The process involves research and recommendations from within Armada's client base of emerging and Fortune 100 technology clients to identify outstanding contributors.

President's Award: Armada's Richard Boston, working with Kijiji, an eBay company, received the Fall 2009 President's Award. The President's Award is designed to honor the consultant who best exemplifies Armada's commitment to dependability, integrity, focus on quality results, sense of urgency, customer service and outstanding technical skills. According to Manish Jain, Principle Software Engineer at Kijiji, "We have hired more than 15 contractor/consultants in last year via different agencies and Richard clearly stood out from the crowd. We only hire people who have high-level technical skill and the right attitude and who take ownership of what they do. He is liked by almost everybody in the team and I am sure everyone in our team would recommend him for the president's award."

Teamwork Excellence Award: Prasant Bejjam, working with Cisco Systems, received the Fall 2009 Teamwork Excellence Award. This award recognizes the consultant who best places unity and efficiency of the group ahead of their individual interests, respects contributions and builds consensus. According to Renu Bhasin, Project Manager, at Cisco Systems "Prasant is very reliable, goal oriented and takes initiative to ensure delivery. He has worked in coordination with various teams to ensure success for each of his projects."

Project Excellence Award: Barbara Marchesani, also working with Cisco Systems received the Fall 2009 Project Excellence Award. This award is presented to the Armada consultant who played an instrumental role in the successful delivery of a company project. Fred Silva, Manager IT (retired) at Cisco Systems stated ""Barbara has done an outstanding job of providing comprehensive Service Management to three Cisco IT enterprise production platforms. Despite this very large workload and responsibility, she continually exhibits insightful understanding, attention to detail, and quality service delivery."
